BBC journalist Ben Brown, accredited in the Ukrainian capital, reported this.
"The UN Secretary General told me he was shocked that Russia had launched a missile attack on Kyiv while he was in the city for talks with President Zelensky. Ukraine calls it a 'disgusting act of barbarism' and a 'postcard from Moscow' ", Brown wrote.
Asked if "nuclear war" is possible in relation to Russia's attack on Ukraine, Guterres said he sincerely believes that "nuclear war is unthinkable" and everyone should do everything possible to make it "impossible".
