“Get to the table”: Trump threatens Russia with "large scale" sanctions
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he is considering imposing “large scale” banking sanctions and tariffs on Russia until a ceasefire is established and a final peace agreement is reached

He shared the statement on TruthSocial.
“Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely ‘pounding’ Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a Cease Fire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED,” the U.S. president said.
According to him, a final peace agreement will be reached.
To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late. Thank you!!!” Trump summarized.
- Earlier, Trump said that significant progress had been made between Ukraine and Russia over the past two days, noting that Kyiv was eager to reach a deal.
