Germany’s chemical and consumer goods giant Henkel will leave Russia by end of 2022
German manufacturer of household chemicals Henkel plans to leave the Russian market completely by the end of 2022, selling its business

This was stated by the financial director of the company, Marco Swoboda
According to him, the company saw a great interest to its Russian assets.
The Henkel concern announced its withdrawal from Russia in April. In March, Henkel stopped all investments in Russian business, and in August it put its assets in Russia and Belarus up for sale.
Henkel has worked in the country since 1991, the company owns 11 factories in different regions of Russia, namely in the Perm and Stavropol regions, Saratov, Leningrad, Ulyanovsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow and Chelyabinsk regions.
Among its brands: washing and cleaning products, shower gels, hair products.
