Germany wills to support international investigation of Russian war crimes

"We are firmly on the side of Ukraine. Federal Minister of Justice Marсo Bushman left last night to visit this country. One thing is clear: we provide financial, military and humanitarian support - and we will continue to do so. We will not give up freedom and justice", the department message says.

The head of German department plans to hold negotiations with Ukrainian authorities and human rights defenders. In particular, the plans include a discussion of international investigation of Russia's war crimes. It is emphasized that Germany wants to support Ukraine in this matter.

"Investigations of Russian war crimes in recent months after the attack on neighboring country in February are of great importance not only for Ukraine", Bushman said.
