Germany to give Ukraine 10 Leopard 1 tanks, more Patriot and IRIS-T air defense systems
Germany will provide Ukraine with 10 Leopard 1 tanks, additional Patriot and IRIS-T air defense systems, and three Gepard anti-aircraft guns as part of the next aid package

This was reported by the German Ministry of Defense.
The total cost of air defense systems and anti-aircraft guns is about 1 billion euros.
“Germany finalizes second winter package for Ukraine to protect critical infrastructure and provide further support, supplying additional air defense with Patriot, IRIS-T SLM & SLS worth around EUR 1 billion, as well as three Gepard anti-aircraft gun tanks,” the message says.
The report also notes that over the next few weeks, Ukraine will receive 10 more Leopard 1 A5 battle tanks, 15 armored transport vehicles, and nearly 20 armored ambulances.

The Rheinmetall arms concern has received an order from the German government for more than 150,000 artillery shells for Ukraine.
