Germany, Slovenia agree to transfer M-55S tanks to Ukraine
On September 19, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob agreed to transfer 28 M-55S tanks to Ukraine.

The M-55S is a Slovenian modernization of the Soviet T-55 tanks, which were produced in 1958-1979. In the late 90s, they received new dynamic armor, a more powerful engine, an improved fire control system, etc.
In exchange for the tanks, Slovenia will receive 40 German military vehicles from Germany: 35 heavy four-wheel drive trucks and 5 water tanks.
