Germany ready to take in Russian deserters - German Interior Minister Faeser

Germany is ready under certain circumstances to take in deserters from the Russian army and opponents of Putin's regime

This is reported by AFP.

"Deserters who face severe repression will receive international protection in Germany," German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. "Anyone who boldly opposes Putin's regime and therefore exposes himself to great danger can apply for asylum in Germany due to political persecution."
