Germany, Netherlands to train sappers from Ukraine

This was stated by Ministers of Defense Christine Lambrecht and Kajsa Ollongren at the US military base in Ramstein, Spiegel reports.

Support will be provided at the Explosive Ordnance Protection School in Stetten am kalten Markt (Baden-Württemberg), Christine Lambrecht said. 

"We will provide not only training, but also equipment," the minister said.

According to Lambrecht, the school is capable of training about 20 Ukrainian soldiers. "It could happen very quickly, we're already in the process," she said.
