Ukrainian and German Finance Ministers have signed an agreement to provide EUR 1 billion in grant aid to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Finance Ministry made an announcement on its website.

The Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and the German Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner signed an Agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and Germany on providing Ukraine with EUR 1 billion in grant funding.

The funds will be sent to Ukraine through the mechanism of the administrative account of the International Monetary Fund.
