German Defense Minister announces trip to Ukraine
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius says he is planning a trip to Ukraine in the coming weeks
He said this in an interview with Bild am Sonntag publication.
Answering a journalist's question about where the minister plans to go first, Pistorius said that he wants to visit Ukraine, possibly even this month.
"It is not yet finalized. But we can say for sure that I will go to Ukraine soon. Probably even within the next four weeks. I recently met my Ukrainian counterpart in Ramstein, and I can say that Oleksii Reznikov is a very accessible, open-minded person who knows exactly what he wants," Pistorius said.
