German Ambassador shares when Ukraine will receive 18 Leopard tanks
German Ambassador Anka Feldhusen says 18 Leopard 2 A6 tanks will arrive in Ukraine from Germany by the end of March
She shared the information in her column for European Pravda.
"By the end of March 2023, Germany will supply 18 Leopard 2 A6 battle tanks to Ukraine," Feldhusen wrote.
She added that the Ukrainian military is currently training on German tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
"Currently, training is underway on Marder infantry fighting vehicles (40 infantry fighting vehicles are to be delivered), Leopard 2 tanks and the Patriot air defense system," Feldhusen said.
She also published a full list of weapons that Ukraine has already received directly from Germany.
"These are 32 Gepard anti-aircraft systems, 14 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers, 5 MARS II MLRS, 50 Dingo armored vehicles, 1 IRIS-T SLM air defense system (3 more are planned), 20 multiple launch rocket systems of 70 mm caliber, 12 heavy-duty truck tractors, 26 reconnaissance UAVs and 30 UAV detection systems, 3 Biber armored bridge pavers, 54 M113 armored personnel carriers with weapons," Feldhusen listed.

On February 24, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, along with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, greeted the first 4 Leopard 2 tanks delivered to Ukraine.
