Georgian volunteers die surrounded near Bakhmut
Founder and commander of "Georgian National Legion" Mamuka Mamulashvili said that dead Georgian volunteers fought for Ukraine as part of "Karpatska Sich" volunteer battalion

"Georgian volunteers died surrended near Bakhmut. They were guys from Georgia who fought for Ukraine as part of the volunteer battalion "Karpatska Sich". They were encircled. They refused to surrender. Russian troops covered them with heavy artillery fire. 33 volunteers from Georgia have already died during the war in Ukraine. Georgia sacrificed many lives to support Ukraine," Mamulashvili said.
Commander of "Georgian National Legion" also added that the death of men only causes an influx of new volunteers to Ukraine from Georgia.
"Georgia is familiar with situation that has now unfolded in Ukraine. Georgian society supports Ukraine and sympathizes with all Ukrainians," Mamulashvili emphasized.
