Georgian PM accuses Ukraine of wanting war to spill into Georgia
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says the Ukrainian authorities are doing everything to ensure that the war spreads to the territory of his country
The information was reported by Georgia Online.
According to Garibashvili, the Ukrainian government allegedly continues to try to open a second front and get Georgia involved in the war with Russia.
"Our team managed to avoid the biggest test of the war. Unfortunately, the attempts to somehow bring this conflict to our country do not stop. We have heard the statements of the Ukrainian authorities on this topic. Their goal was to open a "second front." This goal was served by sending Mikheil Saakashvili to Georgia, and a lot of provocations, which, unfortunately, have not stopped yet," Garibashvili said.
At the same time, he wished Ukrainians to end the war and return their territories.
"I want to wish everyone, including our friendly Ukrainian people, one thing – peace, a timely end to this war and the return of their territories," Garibashvili said.
