Gen. Naiev declares air defense readiness to counter Russian attacks on Easter
Ukraine's air defense system is ready to repel possible attacks by the invading Russian forces during the Easter holidays
Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, Commander of the AFU Joint Forces, said this.
“Missile attacks can happen any day. We are preparing an air defense system, we are taking measures to maneuver it, to move it to certain areas... The invading forces haven't abandoned their plan, but we are ready to neutralize enemy actions. We will do everything to prevent them from disrupting the Easter celebrations,” the general assured.
“Currently, the Ukrainian air defense system has a very high level of readiness. This is evidenced by the fact that the percentage of air targets, that our forces destroy, is much higher than in other military conflicts of the past,” Naiev emphasized.

The General Staff suggested that Russia may have postponed massive missile attacks on Ukraine until the fall. In the summer, the occupying forces plan to launch mass production of new missiles.
