This was announced by the press service of the energy company Eni on Saturday.
"On October 1, 2022, Gazprom announced that it could not confirm the supply of the gas volumes requested for today due to the declared impossibility of transporting gas through Austria. Thus, today the flows of Russian gas destined for Eni through the entry point of Tarvizio will be zero," - it is said in the company's message.
At the same time, the representative of Eni in a comment to the ANSA agency noted that Austria continues to receive gas at the delivery point on the border of Slovakia and Austria.
"We are working to check with Gazprom whether it is possible to restore the flow to Italy," he said.
