G7 security guarantees for Ukraine will not be repetition of Budapest Memorandum - international expert Dobriak
Security guarantees for Ukraine from the G7 will help speed up the actions of the Defense Forces on the battlefield and restore sovereignty and territorial integrity
This was stated by international expert Yevhen Dobriak during an interview with Espreso.
"Security guarantees for Ukraine will not be a repetition of the Budapest Memorandum. This is a very serious and substantial support. It will be at the level of the G7 - these are the world's most powerful economies, financial resources, and armies. This is very important for us at the intermediate stage before joining NATO," he said.
In his opinion, this will include military-technical, financial, political, and economic support.
"At first we thought it would be four countries (the US, UK, Germany, France), but now it's the whole seven. I think this will help accelerate our actions on the battlefield and restore Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Dobriak summarized.
