G7 calls on China to press Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine

G7 leaders agreed to intensify support for Ukraine and at the same time called on official Beijing to put pressure on the aggressor country
This was reported by CNN.
The leaders also called on China to press Russia to "immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw its troops from Ukraine," and stop its military aggression.
Beijing was called upon to support a comprehensive and just peace based on the territorial integrity, principles and purposes of the UN Charter.

On the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan, President Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to discuss the ‘fighter jet coalition’ and met with Prime Ministers Giorgia Meloni of Italy and Narendra Modi of India.
