Front-line activity significantly increases – military expert Zgurets

"There were 108 skirmishes throughout the day, signifying a notable increase in activity along the entire front line. Additionally, the enemy has suffered higher casualties. Starting from yesterday, fighting has escalated in Krasnohorivka, Opytne, and Vodyane. The enemy attempted to employ ground troops and aviation, following a classic Soviet offensive strategy with a substantial number of personnel. This increased intensity resulted in higher enemy casualties, primarily due to our artillery usage," emphasized Zgurets.

The expert also mentioned that the enemy is attempting to encircle Avdiivka.

"The distance from Krasnohorivka to Opytne and Vodyane is approximately 10 kilometers in a straight line. The enemy is striving to advance in these directions, aiming to encircle Avdiivka. Despite their efforts, the enemy has not succeeded thus far, but they will likely persist. Kupyansk, Svatove, Avdiivka, Marinka, Robotyne, Verbove, the entire front has now become significantly more active. While the weather is good, the enemy is probably trying to exert maximum pressure on the Ukrainian troops in order to stop our advance in the south or to occupy the most advantageous positions. Front-line activity significantly increases," Zgurets observed.
