French government to provide EUR 3 million for Ukraine’s nuclear safety - French Foreign Minister in Odesa

On Thursday, January 26, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has arrived in Odesa on a visit. The French government promises to transfer EUR 3 million to ensure nuclear safety in Ukraine

Vladyslav Nazarov, a spokesman for the Pivden United Civil Party, reported the information.

"France will donate EUR 3 million to Ukraine to ensure nuclear safety," the spokesman quoted Catherine Colonna.

The foreign minister said that France is in contact with the Ukrainian government and is donating the necessary equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, air defense systems, and training for the Ukrainian military.

In addition, the French foreign minister tweeted that "Thanks to a Russian missile, I experienced my 1st diplomatic bilateral meeting in a shelter,” and thanked for coffee.

Catherine Colonna tweeted about her visit to Ukraine.

"In Odesa! To express France's support for Ukraine's sovereignty today, the same as yesterday," Colonna wrote.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba thanked his French counterpart "for the brave visit."

 "Looking forward to discussing France’s role in the international tank coalition, Grain From Ukraine, and Peace Formula. The Ukrainian-French partnership remains crucial to ending Russian aggression and restoring peace," he tweeted.
