Former Ukrainian Interior Ministry official drowns in Spain

According to the Spanish outlet El Español, Hrushevskyi died on June 29 while swimming in a shared pool at the Cala Alta residential complex in Villajoyosa, where he owned an apartment.

His body was found in the pool. Although emergency responders attempted to resuscitate him, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to Suspilne that Hrushevskyi drowned. The Ukrainian consulate in Spain is currently arranging the repatriation of his body.
