This is reported by Euractiv.
33,000 tons of Ukrainian grain arrived on the west coast of Ireland, having left the port of Odesa on August 5. Two more vessels headed for Turkey and Great Britain from there.
This party was one of the first to leave Ukraine as part of the July agreement on grain export - the Black Sea Grain Initiative, brokered by the UN and Turkey.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Larisa Herasko visited the port of Foynes in County Limerick during the arrival of the cargo. She said the grain would help "remove the burden of uncertainty" for Irish farmers.
She added that Ukraine will fulfill its obligations under the Initiative, but global food security will depend on Russia fulfilling its promises.
