In connection with the death of American journalist Brent Reno, the Irpen authorities decided to close the city to all members of the media. People are also urged not to post photos of the Ukrainian military in the city on social networks.

The mayor of Irpen Alexander Markushin reported about it, transferred espreso.TV.
"As of today, we ban journalists from entering Irpin. In this way, we want to save the lives of both them and our defenders. I urge all media representatives, as well as all Ukrainians, not to publish our servicemen, their equipment, or anything on social networks that would indicate their location," he said.
Also, according to him, it is impossible to cross the bridge from Romanivka for the period of Irpin's liberation.
We remind you that in Irpen the Russian occupiers shot the correspondent of the New York Times.
At the same time, the NYT stated that the journalist who died in Irpen did not perform any tasks of the publication in Ukraine.
