Russian media TASS and the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Magadan Region Directorate reported the information.
On February 17, Russian media and institutions reported a fire in a warehouse with trucks in Magadan: the fire covered almost 600 m2 .
According to rescue teams, the fire was difficult to extinguish due it covering the large area. In addition, heavy smoke and the threat of structural collapse hampered the efforts.
Local media reported that the warehouse contained recently repaired trucks worth RUB 15 to 20 million. They were supposed to be transported to Chukotka the next day, however almost everything burned.
According to Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, in addition to transport equipment, the warehouse contained fuels and lubricants, flammable liquids, and automobile tires.
As of 4 a.m. on February 17, the fire was extinguished.
On January 28, it was reported that the Sindika building market in Moscow caught fire, spreading over 2,100 square meters.
Russia also reported that Ukraine had "attempted to shell" the Novozybkov oil pumping station in the Bryansk region, which is part of the Druzhba pipeline, on January 31.
On February 4, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise servicing the Kerch Bridge in Russian Belgorod region, as a result of shelling.
Three days later, a fire broke out at a Lukoil refinery in the Kstovo district, Russia.
On February 14, a large fire broke out in Moscow near the Research Institute of Precision Instruments, which designs equipment for missile armament for ships and aircraft.
