Fire at the Barabashovo market in Kharkiv due to the shelling of the invaders: the fire spread to the private sector

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Telegram.

"As of 19:00, as a result of a fire in the market (over the entire area), the fire spread to private residential buildings (the number is being specified). About 70 people and 21 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in extinguishing", the service said.

According to it, on March 17 at 14:40, while extinguishing a fire in the market, an employee of the State Emergency Service was killed and another was injured as a result of artillery shelling.

Because of the shelling, the rescuers could not join the firefighting for some time.

Recall that there have been cases when unknown people try to take possession of the uniform of firefighters.
