This is stated on the website of the Finland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is reported that 2 million euros will be used to support the supply of grain from Ukraine to countries whose food security situation has been affected by Russia's full-scale invasion. With the support of Finland, the World Food Programme (WFP) purchases grain from Ukraine and exports it to African countries affected by the food crisis.
The country has also allocated funds for the demining of Ukrainian farmland so that farmers can use the land to grow food again.
- On November 23, the Finnish government proposed amendments to the budget for 2024, including an increase in allocations to Ukraine in 2024 to €20.7 million.
