Finland suspects Russian aircraft of airspace violation
Finland’s Ministry of Defense has reported a possible violation of the country’s airspace by a Russian aircraft

According European Pravda, Finnish Ministry of Defense stated this in its report.
A Russian military aircraft is suspected of violating Finnish airspace near Porvoo in the afternoon of June 10, 2025.
“An investigation into the suspected airspace violation began immediately,” said Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen.
The Border Guard is investigating the incident and will provide more information as the investigation progresses.
- On May 19, The New York Times reported that Russia is reinforcing its military positions near the Finnish border, with satellite images showing an expansion of military infrastructure that could be part of Moscow’s long-term strategy beyond the war in Ukraine.
