Yle reported the statement of President of Finland Sauli Niinistö.
"Leopard tanks can be transferred to Ukraine under certain conditions. If a joint European project to help Ukraine is created, Finland's participation will also be required," he said.
According to Niinistö, Finland can give Ukraine only a small number of tanks, as it shares a border with Russia and is not yet a NATO member.
- On January 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the leaders of Poland and Lithuania Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda in Lviv. Duda said that Ukraine would receive a company of Leopard tanks as part of an international coalition.
