US national hero, special agent and MMA fighter Tim Kennedy has come to Dnipro and to the frontline in the region.

Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov shared the news on Facebook.

According to Filatov, Kennedy came "from congresswoman Victoria Spartz" to support the residents of the city and the military, who are resisting Russian aggression.

"Meet the famous Tim Kennedy. National hero of the USA. Special forces and MMA fighter. He came to visit. To support us. And the boys on the frontline too," Filatov said.

He noted that Tim Kennedy is very simple and friendly and admitted who he was only after Filatov began to suspect that he had seen him on TV: "Are you not a movie actor by any chance?"

"Well, almost. We finished off Ben Laden along with all his gang," Kennedy replied.

Tim Kennedy served in the US Army and at the same time participated in MMA. During his career, he defeated such fighters as Robbie Lawler, Melvin Manhoef and former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. At the same time as an athlete and military career, he started his own business. He also starred in television programs.
