Fighting continues on border of Luhansk, Donetsk regions

Roman Vlasenko, the head of the Severodonetsk District Military Administration, said this on Espreso TV. 

"There are certain hostilities that are taking place on the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This is in the direction of Siversk and Soledar from the direction of Verkhnokamyanka and Bilohorivka. There, hostilities are still ongoing, and the Russians are trying to improve their situation and form a bridgehead on Soledar, Siversk, then on to Bakhmut", he noted.

Vlasenko emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not allow this to be done.

"For nearly a month, active hostilities have been going on there. The Russians use aviation and artillery in this direction, but our guys are on the defensive. In some cases, they even approach the Russians, and there is a lot of information that our guys are intercepting on the territory of Lysychansk and Severodonetsk", he concluded.
