This was announced by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.
According to him, the ZIL truck collided with an oncoming car and drove to the side of the road, ignoring the warning signs "beware of mines". The truck exploded, and the driver died on the spot.
"It was Deineka Ivan Hryhorovych, a resident of Krasnopillya, a local farmer - the owner of an agricultural company and a deputy of the district council. The head of the association of farmers and private landowners of the Sumy region. The man was in the car alone. He was transporting the harvested crop. I express my condolences to the family and the community", the head of the region said.
