Planet Labs satellite imagery from March 1 was released, showing the aftermath of a fire on the territory of the Russian air defense training ground, located west of the airfield in Yeysk.
It is not yet known whether the airfield itself was damaged, as the satellite has not yet recorded it.
However, there are photos of the airfield taken on February 15, where aircraft can be seen. In particular, the first photo shows two MiG-29 fighters, two Tu-134 passenger planes, six Su-34 or Su-37 fighters, two An-72 transport planes, and one Il-38 in the eastern part of the airport.
In the central part were three Il-38s, one An-72, and three Su-27s.
In the western part, there are a passenger IL-62 and three transport An-24 or An-26.
