Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, stated this on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
"I think they just won't make it to the beaches. Because they've already played enough in the sand. That's the end of their games," she said, commenting on the appearance of trenches on some sandy beaches in the west of Crimea.
According to Humeniuk, Russian citizens accustomed to living and vacationing in occupied Crimea should prepare for the sounds of air raids during the current ‘hot’ period of the year, which she refers to as "explosion season" on the peninsula.
"That's why they need to get used to the sounds of the air raid alarm," she said.
