Explosions heard in Kyiv city and surroundings, at least one person injured

The media reported that the missiles hit one of the capital's districts. After that, a fire allegedly broke out.

Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed several explosions in Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.
"Several explosions occurred in Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of the capital. Services are already working on the spots. More information later," - wrote the mayor of Kyiv.
Also the head of the Brovary city Igor Sapozhko wrote in his Telegram channel about explosions in the nearby communities.
“At around 6 am, the enemy attacked areas in the closest vicinity of our community. As of now, there is no information about the destruction in the Brovary community.
We urge you to remain calm and stay in safe places," wrote Igor Sapozhko.
The mayor of Brovary adds: "After shellings in the capital there’s a smell of soot smoke in the air. Close all your windows and refrain from going out on the streets."
As of 8 AM, Vitaliy Klitschko reports that one person has been injured by Russian air strikes. They were hospitalised.
"At the moment, there are no casualties as a result of missile strikes on the infrastructure. One victim was hospitalised. Services are still working in the affected areas," the mayor added.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration later reported that on the morning of June 5 an enemy missile had been taken down by Air Defence Forces over the Obukhiv district. No casualties or damage. The information is being clarified.
