Explosions heard in Crimea, Russian forces report air defense activity
The Moscow-appointed authorities of Crimea claim that Russian air defense is repelling drone attacks on the peninsula, having shot down one UAV
Head of occupation administration Sergey Aksyonov wrote on Telegram that the drone was shot down in western Crimea.
“In western Crimea, air defense forces shot down a UAV. Our servicemen are solving the problem clearly and efficiently,” the message says.
The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, also claimed the drone attack was underway and said that all city services were on alert.
“Fleet forces in cooperation with air defense are now repelling the attack of enemy UAVs on the outer raid. One drone has already been shot down. All city services are on alert,” he wrote.
