Experts predict Ukraine will achieve impressive export results in September
Ukraine anticipates a strong performance in agricultural exports via river transport this September, with expectations of shipping up to 3 million tons
Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, shared this during an interview on Espreso.
"I'm delighted with our collaboration with Romanian partners. We're looking at the potential to export four million tons of oilseed crops in October," Marchuk stated.
He added that considering land routes for transit could yield positive long-term results.
"In October, if we can achieve 5 million tons due to a new harvest and an export potential of 50 million tons for this marketing year, that would be a significant achievement. However, challenges related to Russian shelling are delaying ship deliveries to Danube ports," he noted.

On September 20, Denys Marchuk warned that Ukraine could face a potential loss of nearly 600 million euros by the year-end due to the ban on grain exports.
