Except for diplomats in Spain, three more Ukrainian embassies receive threats - Dmytro Kuleba
Except for Spanish Embassy, three Ukrainian embassies abroad received letters with "very specific threats" on Wednesday and Thursday
This was stated during a meeting of the OSCE Council of ministers in Lodz by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrinform reports.
"This is definitely a new form of terror. We are working very actively with the Spanish authorities to establish who is behind this. We certainly have an idea, but we need to track the entire network of agents and people involved in this campaign," Kuleba stressed.
He added, what happened on Wednesday in Madrid, "there were other disturbing events that are not related to explosives, but with the sending of specific threats to the Ukrainian embassies."
When asked what kind of threats he is talking about and in which embassies of Ukraine this happened, Kuleba said that the foreign ministry will soon issue an official comment on this issue.
He noted, given the events of yesterday and today, there is an exact reason to say that there is a "targeted large-scale campaign" against Ukraine.
"We need to fully unwind the chains: who is involved, where these chains come from, who sends them (letters – ed.)," Kuleba claimed.
He assured that after identifying all the perpetrators, measures will be taken to punish them.
Subsequently, Kuleba on the air of the national telethon clarified, it became known about the third Embassy of Ukraine, which received a similar package and somewhat clarified the details of their type and content.
"Firstly, not two, but already three, and secondly, letters not with explosives, but with a different substance. I won't comment yet... Inside these envelopes there is a symbolic threat transmitted to Ukraine. I can only say that all the envelopes at the time of their receipt were soaked in red liquid," Kuleba said.
The minister called the incident intimidation of Ukraine and Ukrainian diplomats.
"Now we are analyzing what happened. I draw one simple conclusion: if they have already started attacking embassies with bombs or some satanic or voodoo symbols, they are afraid of us and trying to stop us. But nothing will stop us," he stressed.
Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles claimed in Odesa that neither sending letters with explosives nor any other violent actions will change the firm and clear commitment of Spain to support Ukraine against the Russian invasion, writes the Electomania publication.
"None of these assumptions or any other violent action will change the clear and firm commitment of Spain, NATO and the European Union to support Ukraine which is defending a just cause," she said.

On November 30 employees of the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid received minor injuries as a result of a bomb explosion on the premises of the diplomatic mission. It is known that in Spain, the incident was previously qualified as a terrorist crime.

Later, a package with a supposedly explosive device was received on Wednesday by the Spanish company Instalaza, which makes weapons for Ukraine. In particular, Instalaza manufactures anti-tank grenade launchers used by the Ukrainian army in the war with Russia. At the beginning of the war, Spanish Defense Minister Margareta Robles announced that Kyiv would receive 1,370 such installations.

Today explosives are also in the mail package sent to the US embassy in Madrid.
