Evacuating wounded soldiers from the battlefield often becomes a special operation, requiring precise coordination between different Defense Force units

Volunteer Oksana Korchynska spoke about this live on Espreso TV.

"Even if a wounded serviceman can climb onto a ground robotic vehicle on his own, the enemy still hunts him with drones. So our units carry out countermeasures. Our military also set ambushes using their own FPV drones near the evacuation area and try to shoot down as many Russian drones as possible," Korchynska said.

She stressed that evacuating the wounded demands careful planning and coordination.

"Today, every evacuation of a wounded soldier is essentially a special operation. Recently, high-ranking British intelligence officials asked me why I keep saying this. I told them it takes serious coordination to evacuate someone. Nearby Ukrainian units must be informed and understand that an evacuation is underway so they don’t mistakenly target our people with their own FPV drones. The enemy is close, and things can get confused, unfortunately, this does happen at the front," she added.
