European Commission publishes report on Ukraine's compliance with EU legislation
The European Commission has published an analytical report assessing the capacity of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia to assume the obligations associated with EU membership
The press service of the European Commission shared the report.
"The reports complement the Opinions on the three countries' applications for EU membership adopted by the European Commission in June 2022. The European Council granted a European perspective for the three countries and candidate status for Ukraine and Moldova, in line with the Opinions which specify a number of priorities to be addressed in this context," the report said.
The analytical report on Ukraine's compliance with EU legislation refers in particular to the judiciary, public procurement, digital transformation and media, education, and economic policy of the country.
The Commission is to report on the progress made by Ukraine in implementing reforms as part of the Enlargement Package to be held in the fall.
