EU is ready to completely stop Russian gas supply

According to him, the EU is well prepared for the complete cessation of Russian gas supplies. EU countries are actively pumping gas into their storage facilities and taking measures to save energy. "We are not afraid of Putin's decisions," Gentiloni said.

He added that the EU requires Russia to comply with treaties and is ready to react if the contractual obligations are not fulfilled. 

Paolo Gentiloni assured that due to the diversification of supplies, the gas storages to the EU are now filled by about 80%.
