This is reported by European Pravda with reference to the Official Journal of the EU.

The restrictions consist in the freezing of assets of persons under sanctions and a ban on travel to EU countries.

In particular, the owner of the Syrian airline

Cham Wings, businessman Issam Shammut, associated with Bashar Assad's regime, was added to the sanctions list.

In addition, an officer of the Syrian army, Colonel Saleh al-Adbullah, was included in the lists. The restrictions were imposed on him because he recruited soldiers from his unit, the 16th Brigade of the Syrian army, for combat operations in Ukraine.

The list of sanctioned persons also included the commander-in-chief of the Palestine Liberation Army, Muhammad al-Salti, a citizen of Syria, "for recruiting Palestinian mercenaries" sent to Libya and Ukraine, as well as two military personnel and the leader of the Syrian political faction.

Two Syrian security companies, Sanad Protection and Security Services and Al-Sayyad, were also sanctioned. Both are related to the private Russian company Wagner. In particular, restrictions are imposed on their four managers.
