EU adds financial lever to political demand for reforms

In 2023, the EU decided to provide Ukraine with EUR 18 billion on unprecedented terms. But instead, Ukraine must implement a number of systemic changes.

Of course, the next priority is the courts.

In addition to those things that are on the "candidate" list, for example, the restoration of the work of the Supreme Court of Justice, there is such a condition as “by the end of 2023, to change the system of selection of future judges according to a new methodology and with the participation of the reformed Supreme Court of Justice.”
