Erdogan, Zelenskyy to talk in Lviv about strengthening Ukraine grain export mechanism, diplomatic end of war

At a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Turkish President Recep Erdogan plans to consider steps to end the war "by diplomatic means".

The President of Turkey made an announcement on an official website.

During the talks in Lviv, Erdogan and Zelensky plan to discuss all aspects of Turkish-Ukrainian relations.

"Also, a trilateral summit, during which potential steps aimed at increasingly maintaining the activities of the mechanism formed to export the Ukrainian grain to world markets and ending the Ukraine-Russia war through diplomatic avenues will be addressed, is planned to be held as part of the visit with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres," the Turkish statement said.
