The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 19, 2024, amounted to:

  • warships/boats ‒ 25

Russia's attacks on Ukraine

In total, the invading Russian army launched 3 missile strikes, 43 air strikes, fired 102 times from multiple rocket launchers at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in injuries and deaths among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

At night, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using 4 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all Russian UAVs.

3 settlements in Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; 8 settlements in Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region were hit by air strikes.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation on the main frontlines

Over the past day, 80 combat engagements took place.

The operational situation has not changed near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian forces twice tried to attack Ukrainian troops' positions near Tabaivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 Russian troops' attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, Terny and southeast of Vyimka, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off 8 Russian attacks near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders beat back five Russian-backed attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkine and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian forces near Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The invading Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 18 times with the support of aviation.

No Russian troops' offensive (assault) actions were recorded in the Novopavlivka area.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian forces 10 times unsuccessfully tried to attack Ukrainian military positions near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions and repelling Russian troops' assaults. Despite significant losses, the Russian forces are trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the Russian army made 16 unsuccessful assaults.

Ukrainian Defense Forces strikes at Russian troops' positions

Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 4 Russian troops' concentration areas. In the eastern direction, Ukrainian air defense downed a Su-34 fighter bomber and one Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV.

Ukrainian missile units struck 1 Russian personnel concentration area, 3 command posts and 2 ammunition depots.
