Situation at the frontline: Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated 29 attacks in the Novopavlivka direction and 20 in the Avdiivka direction

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 Russian attacks near Tabaivka, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces fought off 11 Russian troops' attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka and Verkhnekamianske, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defense forces countered 3 Russian attacks in the areas east of Chasiv Yar, Bohdanivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated 20 Russian troops' attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the invading Russian forces in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region. The Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 29 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 7 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region, west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the occupying Russian forces keep trying to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, two unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian troops' positions were made over the past day.

Russian army launches 2 missile strikes and 64 air strikes against Ukraine

Over the past day, 79 clashes took place. In total, the Russian troops launched 2 missile strikes, 64 air strikes, fired 93 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine once again, using 36 Shahed UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 22 of these attack UAVs.

Russia struck 5 settlements in Sumy region; 1 settlement in Kharkiv region; 2 settlements in Luhansk region; 15 settlements in Donetsk region; 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

About 150 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 2 Russian troops' concentration areas

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 7 Russian troops' concentration areas. Ukrainian air defense forces also downed one missile. Missile troops struck 2 Russian forces' concentration areas.
