Over 500 Russian soldiers, up to 20 tanks destroyed: 3rd Brigade reports on situation in Avdiivka sector

"After leaving Avdiivka and liberating Krasnohorivka, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade continues to destroy the enemy in the Avdiivka sector," the statement says.

Brigade units have already destroyed:

• more than 500 Russian soldiers;
• up to 20 armored vehicles and tanks;
• SAMs, artillery systems, self-propelled artillery systems, and a significant number of Russian vehicles.

The brigade notes that in terms of casualties, the Russian army has been critically defeated at the regimental level, but the Russian armed forces are outnumbered and are not retreating. Therefore, the combat situation in the area is extremely difficult.

"Despite the tense situation, the 3rd Assault Brigade continues to wipe out enemy infantry, repel assaults, and prevent the Russians from breaking through deep into the occupied defenses in the Avdiivka sector," the statement says.

• On February 28, the Third Assault Brigade drove the Russians out of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. The day before, the invading forces had attacked the southeastern part of the city and entered it.
