General Staff report: 87 clashes took place in the frontline over the last day, Russia is actively attacking in 7 directions

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains unchanged.

The Russian army maintains a military presence near the northeastern Ukrainian border, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 4 times near Novoserhiivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces countered 3 attacks near Nevske, Luhansk region, and Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 24 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Novyi, Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdiivka direction , the Ukrainian Armed Forces beat back 19 attacks in the areas of Semenivka, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Novokalynove, Yasnobrodivka, Netailove, Pervomayske and Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the areas of Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by aviation, tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 23 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian invaders, with the support of aviation, attacked Ukrainian positions 5 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction , the Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro river. Over the past day, they made 3 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian troops.

Russian army launches 4 missile strikes and 57 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 87 clashes took place. In total, the Russian military launched 4 missile strikes, 57 air strikes, fired 89 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

More than 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
