Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian tank, 43 artillery systems and 880 soldiers per day

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to April 24, 2024, amounted to:

Situation in the frontline: over 100 clashes took place over the last day, most of them in the Novopavlivka direction

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 5 times near Berestove, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces countered 19 attacks near Hrekivka and Nevske in Luhansk region and Terny and Yampolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 21 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnyokamianske, Novyi, Spirne, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders beat back 21 attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Yasnobrodivka, Netailove, Pervomaiske, Nevelske in Donetsk region. The Russian military tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhaine in Donetsk region. The Russian forces, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defenses 24 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian militants, supported by aviation, attacked Ukrainian positions 5 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian units do not abandon their intention to push Ukrainian troops out of the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, with the support of aviation, Russian forces made three unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions near Krynky, Kherson region.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit almost 20 areas of Russian troops' concentration

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 17 areas of concentration of personnel and 1 Russian anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 1 UAV ground control station, 1 area of concentration of weapons and military equipment, 2 areas of concentration of personnel, 1 air defense system and 3 other important Russian targets.

Russians shell over 120 settlements with artillery

1 settlement in Chernihiv region; 3 settlements in Luhansk region; 16 settlements in Donetsk region and 1 settlement in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
