Situation at the frontline: Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 68 Russian troops' attacks in 6 directions over the last day

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains unchanged.

The Russian army maintains a military presence near the northeastern Ukrainian border, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 9 times in the areas of Terny, Torske, Hryhorivka in Donetsk region and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops rebuffed 19 attacks near Verkhnekamianske, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka in Donetsk region. The Russian military, supported by air power, tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders countered 11 attacks in the areas of Ocheretyne, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Semenivka, Netailove and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian forces near Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The Russian forces tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defense 20 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian positions 4 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region, Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian troops are determined to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they made 5 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian positions.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Shelling of Ukraine and destruction of Russian invaders's facilities

In total, the Russian forces launched 2 missile strikes, 64 air strikes, fired 75 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

2 settlements in Sumy region; 6 settlements in Kharkiv region; 1 settlement in Luhansk region; 16 settlements in Donetsk region; 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Meanwhile, over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 6 Russian troop concentration areas and 2 control points.

Missile units struck 1 area of Russian forces concentration.
