The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 12.04.24 approximately amounted to:

General Staff report: Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks in 5 directions over the last day: 78 clashes took place at the front

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains unchanged.

The Russian army maintains a military presence near the northeastern Ukrainian border, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

The invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 29 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Klishchiivka, Verkhnekamianske and Ivanivske, Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 7 attacks near Novokalynove, Umanske, Pervomayske and Netailove in Donetsk region. The Russian forces, supported by air, tried to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian forces near Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine. The Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defenses 26 times with the support of air power.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian positions 5 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces are determined to drive Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they made 7 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions.

Russian army launches 54 missile strikes and 126 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 78 clashes took place. In total, the Russian troops launched 54 missile strikes, 126 air strikes, fired 95 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, the Russian aggressors attacked Ukraine once again. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 16 out of 17 Shahed attack UAVs.

1 settlement in Chernihiv region; the city of Sumy; 1 settlement in Kharkiv region; 2 settlements in Luhansk region; 22 settlements in Donetsk region; 1 settlement in Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces hit an air defense vehicle and an electronic warfare station

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 12 areas where Russian troops, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and an air defense system.

Missile troops struck an air defense system, an electronic warfare station and 2 areas of Russian troops' concentration.
