Russia loses 810 soldiers, 19 tanks and 34 artillery systems per day - Ukraine's General Staff

• air defense systems - 720 (+0) 
• aircraft - 347 (+0)

• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8,308 (+36) 
• cruise missiles - 1,922 (+0) 
• ships/boats - 26 (+0) 
• submarines - 1 (+0) 
• motor vehicles and tankers - 14,141 (+68)

Russian troops attempted to break through Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense in Novopavlivka direction 36 times in 24 hours

Over the last day, 72 clashes took place on the frontline, the Russian troops launched 14 missile strikes, 75 air strikes, and fired 95 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities from multiple rocket launchers, according to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 18.

Over the past 24 hours, localities in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were hit by air strikes.

About 140 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

The situation in the main front directions

 The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian forces tried to storm Ukrainian defense positions near Synkivka in Kharkiv region twice in vain.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 3 Russian attacks near Rozdolivka in Donetsk region. The Russian troops tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces countered 8 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders fought off 13 Russian troops' attacks in the vicinity of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomayske, Orlivka, Oleksandropil and Nevelske in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Pobieda in Donetsk region. The invading Russian forces, with the support of aviation, tried to break through Ukrainian lines.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian positions 7 times near Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, The Russian forces stormed Ukrainian troops' positions three times.

Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation strikes at six Russian troops' concentration areas and their equipment

Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
